“We started operations in São Paulo in 1993 with the goal of establishing an environmental laboratory operated by Brazilian scientists that would be as good as any laboratory in the world. We have met and then exceeded these objectives.
.
I am proud of our São Paulo laboratory and their accomplishments and invite you to experience their international quality services.”

Ceimic Análises Ambientais which is dedicated solely to providing environmental analytical chemistry was founded in the United States in 1988 and commenced operations in Brazil in 1993.
.
Ceimic’s São Paulo laboratory offers a full range of analytical services and specializes in the more challenging organic analyses such as, VOC, SVOC, PCB’s and Pesticides whose analyses are fully compliant with United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) methods. Ceimic’s knowledge and experience with US EPA methods, its modern instrumentation and highly developed quality systems provide data that is comparable to that provided by the better laboratories in the United States. We have been producing high quality data in Brazil for over 15 years.

The Quality System Ceimic has developed is modeled after its system in the United States where it was the largest provider of analytical chemistry data to the US EPA, itself. The plan has evolved to include compliance with the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Committee 17025 (ISO/IEC 17025) and Ceimic maintains ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for virtually all environmental analyses utilizing US EPA methods. It was also the first laboratory in all of South America to receive accreditation by NELAC.
